...I will put my remote through the television. I can not STAND that crap, I
don't CARE how hokey "rocky horror" they're trying to be, it is LAME, it is
STUPID, and it is ANNOYING!

Whoever or whatever it is, it's hands down one of the worst commercials on
television today, and quite possible one of the worst ever. I immediately
hit the mute button whenever I'm unlucky enough to be caught off guard by
its airing.

Chad's only use to Hollywood would be as the retarded kid who gets everyone
donuts on the set.

Yet here you are talking about it. The ad agency did their job well.

I think it's because a young Meatloaf was actually IN the Rocky Horror
Picture Show (on a motorcycle!)
http://www.horrorstew.com/Rocky-Horror-Picture-Show-Pictures.html
... but the commercial itself actually refers musically to Meatloaf's hit
"Paradise by the Dashboard Lights"

Not that it matters, now that we've removed Orson's lame
attention-deficit attempt at cross-trolling, BUT:

But, as Monty Python once put it:
"But the public knows the product's name now!"
"They certainly *do* know the name, they burned the factory down this
morning..."

(There are execs who, hand to bible, will *swear* that the Nissan
Waterfall ads were a "success" because we talked about them, despite it
being named one of the worst campaigns of the Century.)

Derek Janssen (er, we DID remember that one, didn't we?)

As were many other people. If one sees Barry Bostwick on Spin City, is
an assumption made that it must be connected to "Rocky Horror?"

But it is NOT "Rocky Horror." If you must sum it up in one soundbite,
one could call it hokey "Bat Out Of Hell."

But hey, if you need to show your ignorant displeasure by busting your
own stuff, go right ahead.
