This Sunday will feature a six hour Foster's Home for Imaginary
Friends marathon on Cartoon Network, starting at 1:00 PM E/PDT. The
last five episodes will be new, and will apparently really be *the*
last five new episodes of Foster's. The movie "Destination
Imagination" certainly had a final feel to it, though it seems thing
had to go on just a little bit longer. The last episode's title
"Goodbye to Bloo" seems to be the ultimate confirmation.

If this is indeed the end, it was a great five years. The more I
saw this show, the more I appreciated how good it was. I have a
feeling this will eventually be remembered as an underrated classic .

You mean Mac comes to his senses and euthanizes the big jerk he created?

Well, it *would* take a lack of appreciation for good animation to
say something like that . . .

Well, past performance may not be an indicator of future
performance, but after creating a classic like the Powerpuff Girls,
and a future classic like Foster's, one can only wonder what greatness
Craig McCracken will create next!

Well, some hints, perhaps . . .:

I never really got into it that much - Bloo was just too annoying :^(

FWIW, Foster's design supervisor Ben Balistreri will be a Guest of
Honor at Anthrocon July 4th weekend in Pittsburgh, along with Trix
Rabbit (among others) creator Joe Harris, and Bob Boyle, creator/
producer of Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! and Disney’s Yin Yang Yo!.
