Brokeback 6Teen . . .

Not much to say about 6Teen: It's basically Friends, with
teenagers, in Canada. The Cartoon Network airing is horribly out of
sequence; like its counterpart Total Drama Island, it seems subject to
inconsitent editing, but at least the latter got aired in order.

The latest "new" episode, "Stupid Over Cupid," has Wayne finally
going out with Serena . . . who's already moved on in other episodes;
in fact, an episode based on Wayne getting dumped is about his
girlfriend *after* Serena.

Anyway, the episode also features Jonesy finally asking Nikki out,
and getting thoroughly rejected. To get even, he auctions himself
off, getting a surprising number of bids. One bid is from a cowboy,
who earlier got duped into buying meat in a heart-shaped box. It's
funny that it's ok to show a teenage boy accosted by an adult male
(and earlier by the mall cougar), but the word "scoring" must
awkwardly be changed to "famously." I guess this is one case where
Candians got the better show, by way of onriginal airing . . .
