Quite Ironic she was in 'The Dead Girl':

I wonder if it will be like the 'Family Guy' episode involving the Tim
Russert joke at the very end. The "Tim Russert" is muted from Fox
airing for the first-run right after his death (they take months of
production before an airing) and depending on the station/cable
channel, muted in syndication. I've heard it both muted and not.

Usually, if it's considered offensive, SNL would edit the tape. For
example, there was a Weekend Update joke about whose career would die
first, and they mentioned two actresses, "but here comes John Candy
coming up fast on the outside"; they removed that entire line (video
as well as audio) after Candy's death.

and don't forget Spun, no one seems to mention that one.
Wow, they called it!

This is the first reference to King of The Hill...
i love love love Luann Platter...!!!
In the first episode it was clear that she was a freakin genius and
that Hank never got that...
And since she's faded off, they probably won't find a replacement
voice...
i wonder if they'll have an explanation for her disappearing...
And what will happen to Lucky...???

FOX Announcer: On the next King of the Hill....
Lucky: Uncle Hank, I done backed over Luanne with mah truck.
Hank: Blaughghghghgh!
Being a genius, I bet they send her on to some corporate environment
after being recognized where she worked, at first temporarily, then
put on some management training program, and then offered the
management job in some Wall Street company, HOD job, then gets married
to the guy from home, but he can't find a job up there, so then
reshuffled into some regional job where she will spend most of her
time on arguing with managers from other regions.
Wait, didn't they cancel King of the Hill. Maybe someone knew she was
gonna die
No need to find one. The show has been canceled.

Twice. But that didn't stop Fox from bringing back "Family Guy".
Then again, (a) FG reruns got over 1,000,000 18-34 viewers on Adult
Swim every Sunday, whereas KOTH - well, they tried episodes at 10 and
10:30 PM Eastern, but moved the 10:30 PM episode to 1:30 AM and
replaced it with a second FG episode, and (b) the first time KOTH was
cancelled (I think Luanne's wedding was supposed to be the last
episode), Fox thought they would have something that could replace it
on its Sunday schedule, but when they didn't, they pretty much begged
and pleaded the cast and crew to get back together.
(But if they do ever need to make new episodes, it shouldn't be that
hard to replace Murphy - I think Tara Strong should be able to do a
passable Luanne. They wouldn't even need to be that close to each
other; how many people cared when Mila Kunis replaced Lacey Chabert as
Meg on FG?)

I did, but since it seems to have been Lacey's choice, it doesn't bother
me.

Tiger Woods has just been named "Athlete of the Decade"
His chosen event? The Broad Jump.
And not just Brittany Murphy but over the last month since December:
Arnold Stang aka Hoiman the Mouse :) and Top Cat
and now even Art Clokey, creator-sigh-of Gumby and Davey and Goliath.
Partime Gumby voice Dal McKennon had left around IIRC November.
