It's that time of year again to find out what everybody's fave
animated features of the year were.

Here are mine in alphabetical order;

Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs (enjoyable with nice gags and
sometimes stunning visuals)

Coraline (Henry Selick's best movie since The Nightmare Before
Christmas)

Fantastic Mr. Fox

Ice Age 3 (the best of the three, imo)

Monsters Vs. Aliens

Ponyo

The Princess & The Frog

Up

Those are my favorites, what were yours?

UP is the only one I've seen; for the most part the ads for the others
made them look terrible (which is a reflection on the people making the
ads, not the people making the movies) or I've never even *seen* an ad
for them - FMFox falls in that category. Haven't seen a image of it.
I've only seen some print stills of Coraline and Ponyo. Meatballs, Ice
Age, and Frog, on the other hand, got advertised to death.

You guys missed out "Planet 51". :-)
That's where I saw the trailer for "Fantastic Mr Fox", and that movie looks
horrible - they've tried to make it look like old fashioned stop motion, but
it simply looks jerky, stilted and incompatible with the dialogue. :-(
