Whatever filtration you use on your freshwater tank would be fine
for Marine. The filtration methods are the same except that people
usually don't use UGF's with marine, simply because there's sand
instead of gravel and the sand just won't work too well with the
UGF plates.
So the only other things that's different is using sand such as
coral sand, instead of gravel.
You'll also need a speciofic gravity tester and a high range PH
test kit.
That's about it.

Get the biggest tank size you can afford as it will help to keep your
water conditions stable. Make sure you have a good protein skimmer!
