Bingman has a compelling article on a "Hydrogen Peroxide/UV
reactor", the premise is sort of a phytoplanton "firewall", this is very
interesting. I'd like to add there may be some interesting promise here as
well as with other articles. I won't go into details, but finally this is
the very first edition of the magazine that actually spells out some real
"nuts and bolts", Well done magazine, a must get....
BTW, where did ole Julian go ?, he was cutting edge in his day, irregardless
that some of his ideas have evolved further in the new millenium

ken,

I believe the real title is "Marine Fish and Reef USA 2002 Annual".

It is probably the best $6.99 knowledge investment one can currently
make in the hobby. The Bingman Firewall is pure genius. I can't wait
'til the next issue (end of this year?) to see what has evolved from his
prototype.

I went through heck trying to find a copy. I think all my lfs' decided
to stop carrying Fancy a few months ago. Could be a Fancy distribution
problem. I couldn't find it in the local Barnes & Noble or Borders
either. Finally had to web order it from North Coast Marines:

http://www.northcoastmarines.com/octsav.htm

NCM now has it on special for $5.99.

As per Julian, he's still writing for FAMA, banging out books, and
trying to make a living with Two Little Fishies.

Regards,
Bob D.

Bob, thanks for the link! Neither of our 2 LFS's carry decent
magazines, and I couldn't find this issue anywhere! Thanks.

Teri,
Barnes & Noble had it in Portsmouth - I found it there a couple of weeks
ago. They had about the only selection that I could find in and around the
seacoast area.

Oh crud. Forgot to check there. I was looking in Barnes & Noble in
Manchester - a little closer to where we are. Oh well, just ordered it
from that site...but will remember that for next time. :-)

Thanks,

He's also signed up as one of the regular authors for
www.advancedaquarist.com beginning with, I believe, the second issue.
