Feeding FW Plants to Marine Fish?

I have a freshwater plant tank that I'm constantly trimming Crypts, Foxtail
and amazon sword leaves. Could these be utilized to feed herbivores Marine
Fish like tangs etc??

Just curious....better than throwing them away.

you could give it a shot but you wouldn't be doing your fish any favors.
Marine animals should be eating marine foods. That's what they are built for.


Why not trim your plants and give them away to folks? There's a plant ng and I
just posted an offer for some free plants and got tons of takers. Shipping is
like $5 and very easy to do.
