Help! I just bought a 46 gal euro tank, stand, Aquamaster 400 filter, and
Quiksand Fluidized bed filter. I need a good book to learn about Starting
and maintaining a salt water tank.
Thanks!

These are some of my books, which would be appropriate for
a beginner, but will also be useful later on:

The ABC's of Marine Aquariums by:
Dr. Warren E. Burgess (small size)
A Step-by-Step Book About Tropical Marine Aquarium Fishes by:
Dr. C.W. Emmens (small)
Miniature Reef Aquarium in Your Home by:
Dr. C.W. Emmens (small)
The Tetra Encyclopedia of the Marine Aquarium by:
Dick Mills (large) --> my favorite

All these authors are highly respected and established in
this field.

If you are doing a reef tank, you will be hard pressed to find a book
that is better than The Reef Aquarium by Sprung and Delbeck. It is
between 60 to 85 dollars though. If you have a shortage of funds :) you
could do a lot worse than to pick up Sprung's Reef Notes Vol. 1,2, and
3. You can get them from the Pet Warehouse for around 45 dollars for
all three.

Try, "The marine aquarium handbook", by Martin A Moe, Jr.

You should be able to find it at your aquarium store and you difinitely
can get it mail order.
