ART DECO antique chinese rug

ART DECO antique chinese rug. It is from the 1930s made in China.
Apart from the fact that Chinese rugs from this period and style are
quite rare (they were not made in great numbers), it is also rare in
the simplicity of color and design (hard to find in a Chinese rug)
8'8" x 5'9". The price is $9500 Los Angeles. Condition is excellent.

Of course it is - it was only woven last week.


Demonstrations of provenance to the contrary only too welcome. Art
deco rugs from China (particularly Shanghai) are nice things and they
certainly did exist.
