I was just wondering if anyone could recount some successful
antique sale stories from r.a.m, especially international sales?
I've advertised some great stuff and had no takers at all.,
Subsequently, I've sold items in the UK for *loads* more than my ram
asking price.
Buyers in the US especially are supposedly desperate for good
antiques, but I get no real takers.
As an example, I offered some incredible art nouveau pub stained
glass at 100 UKP per pane. I then had local takers for this at 600
UKP per piece!!
Love to hear some success stories...

Well, Jon, I'm still waiting for photos from you for a piece of Wedgwood
that you offered back in September................

John;
I've had good luck (and met some damn nice people in the process) buying
and selling through r.a.m. Many international sales -- Holland, UK,
Australia and Belgium, as well as to domestic buyers.
It has been fun, with few exceptions.
Best and good hunting,
John D.
