  I  have an original L. Cagliani miniature oil painting which is matted in four sections (one frame) depicting street scenes.  It was purchased at a NY gallery in the 50's or 60's and sold at that time for $139.  I would love to find out its worth today.   Can anyone help?

Weren't those sold more as decorative items, than as
art? I've seen many of them over the past few years,
unsold, at thrift stores.
