mid 19th century? No way!
early 20th? Seriously doubtful.
Mid-20th? Much more likely

Probably 1920s-30s, semi-inspired by Art Deco. That decorative
groove scroll is very typical of that era, as is the low-slung
modern" look. Interesting piece.

Probably 1940s-early 50s, "Hollywood modern". Typical chunky
no-style thing, with the give-away being the rounded edge on the
top (the presses and glues to mass-produce this were an outgrowth
of the airplane industry) and the V-shaped veneering visible on
the base of the mirror.
