I am trying to find out more about this pottery. The information that
I have is that it was a small pottery maker in Mississauga, Ontario
(Canada) during the early 1970s. I believe that they were also a
apiary and started making the pottery to sell their honey.

I have had it mistakenly identified as Moorcroft or Blue Mountain,
since it is hard to read the name on the bottom and sometimes all that
is legible is M...croft or Canada. However, the glazes were in the
typical 1970s colours of orange, yellow, rust. Like Blue Mountain it
has a earthenware base and streaked glazes.

I have about six pieces now - two onion soup bowls, two jars (one
large and one small) with cork stoppers, and a honey pot with a lid.
I occasionally see a piece at a flea market, but can't find any
catalogs or on-line information. Meadowcroft also did the original
Chinese red teapots that (IIRC) Tetley tea once used as a premium. I
believe that later versions were done by a different potter.

Any help would be appreciated.
