MINIATURE on Ivory - Artist's name MANSELL 1800s

Hi folks,

Am searching for information on miniature painting on ivory (superbly
painted), in the hope of dating it and possibly attaining an opprox. value.

It has the artist's name written down the side (quite prominent) "Mansell".

According to the previous owner and what is written on back of frame (all
ivory tiles with inlaid band of tortoise shell around edge) it was purchased
in Vienna in 1876. The gentleman featured in the work is dressed in an
attire from the early 1800s.

for free and a list of auction results for $$.
