Just bought a nice early 20th century oil painting: scene
w/mother,chilren in 1800s kitchen; painting surface has a few short white
streaks--any tips for what to use to remove? My art background says tiny bit
turpent.w/larger part linseed oil.
Is there a newsgroup, list, or www site for oil painting/art restoration?
