I am looking for information on a pair of verdigris art deco bookends.
They are nudes standing on lily-pads, with a frog on each with only an
identifying stamp 1922. Does anyone have an estimate of their worth?

Unless I am mistaken, these are Frankart ... at least your description is
similar to my pair. I assume you refer to that depression green color
when you say verdigris. If we are talking about the same piece, the 1922 is
the copyright date for this piece; in fact on a good casting you should be
able to see the C-in-a-circle symbol just in front of the the date. Again, if
we are talking the same piece, the nymph's left knee is raised, and her head
is turned to the left so she can glance at the frog. And finally, if we are
talking the same item .... I would estimate their value at $350-$425 for the
pair. Frankart is VERY collectible and desirable ... it is the most
collectible and best executed of all the manufacturers of those pot metal nude
lamps, ashtrays, and bookends from the art deco/modernism era of the 1920's
and 1930's.
