I have an old Magnavox R3 Revision B Horn Speaker and was wondering is
I can power it with some sort of battery pack or Power adapter so I
can use it as an effect in the studio?

The field coil runs on 6VDC, the same battery that originally powered
the tube filaments in the radio it was attached to.
