Victor 5 and 5a reproducer - pin position?

Can anyone verify that on Victor's Orthophonic reproducers, the
mounting pin inside the flange ring is supposed to be positioned at
the very top, or the 12 o'clock position? I forgot to note that
before I replaced the rings on both of my 5a's, but that looks about
right to me visually. These are the portable version #5a, not the
regular #5. Would they both have the same pin position? I'm using
the 5a's on a console Victrola right now as I'm still shopping for a
correct #5 for it.

I've been informed the correct position it to align it with the top
set screw hole.
