Whoo-eee. Talk about "remember when." I knew about twenty of the
people in those photos, and recognized a few who weren't identified as
well, though can't recall their names offhand.
I worked for a while in Norm Winngingstad's group, but he's the only
supervisor I see. Missing are people like Bob Rullman, Larry Mayhew,
and I'm surprised to see a number of Field Engineers I knew, but a lot
of those who spent a long time with Tek weren't in the photos. The
only instructor I saw from the two years I spent teaching in Field
Training was Fred Davey, though there's a picture of Jim Strickland
who had moved on to another role before I joined that organization.
Rose and Burt Avery were both real "fixtures" at Tek---I think they
spent something like 40 years with the company. Funny not to see
Deane Kidd or Stan Griffiths, but not suprised not to see myself, as
the only organize personnel photo shoot I remember was of the class of
Japanese we taught at the formation of the Sony-Tektronix alliance.
I think there are photos of them included, though can't be sure
today.
