Hi all,

Is Dick still doing his Philco cabinet parts? I didnt hear back from
emailing him and it looks
like his web site is gone....

He never really had a website. Other sites mention him though.
Dick is an old time craftsman, and probably is off visiting relatives
for the holidays. Give him time, or try phoning him.

I found him, found his number and gave him a call.
he's still doing repro's, almost ordered a 16B cathedral arch from him, but
many nights of gluing prevailed... came out nice, wouldnt have tried that
though if those cabinets
werent already heavily toned.

What is the best Mohawk to use on the 16B?

I bought a front for a philco some time ago, still waiting for time to
do the cabinet work , but I was very impressed with Dick's
workmanship.

Thanks John, Im doing 2 right now, both Kutztown finds... one was on life
support and the other was straight from the morgue! Both have come out very
nice though with careful regluing and repair. Those chassis are quite a
project with all those blocks to dig out, E filters AND P filter banks,
rebuilding the tuning assy, new wires for the speaker, switch... alot of
work but worth it.

Im keeping one!

Keith
