I noticed that RadioDaze is no longer selling radio tubes. I'm wondering if
this is a trend. Prices seem to be going up at some places too, which can be
a sign of scarcity. Also noticed that types like 12SA7 etc. are only
available in their Glass (GT) iteration at some places. Maybe a good time to
stock up while prices are still low.

PLENTY of tubes here as well as capacitors, repro dials, original
knobs, rare and regular volume and tone controls, etc. Send your want
lists my way! All prices at least 10% less than AES catalog. Used ,
tested good tubes HALF price of new. Best capacitor prices anywhere,
too and all the values you need.

Oh, Hope to see many of you at the WINTER MARC event Jan 30 2010 in
Farmington Hills, Michigan.
peace and good fortune to all in 2010...

This is WHERE the Radiodaze Tubes went to...

http://www.vacuumtubes.net/

just out of Gainesville, FL

as for tube sources .... I usually stick to three sources...

#1 Stan at ESRC Tubes Orlando, FL
#2 Jim Cross tubes Orlando, FL

those two guys are maybe 2 miles apart... between them... something like 3
million plus tubes and more than fair pricing.

#3 Bob Dobush in Ohio FindATube.com
Also nice guy and good prices.

I just got some tubes from the TUBE CENTER in Orlando and they all suck
really bad. The 12SQ7GT's are Japanese. They don't even work in the circuit.
Looks like the JAN 12SA7's are no good either.

Many of these tube places seem to be on Pinecastle Blvd in Orlando...... I
wonder if they are like drug sites...All the same outfit but selling under
several names.
