Billy DeBeck BARNEY GOOGLE 1926 Daily Strip Art
Dated April 10, 1926. A contest to name Barney’s horse Sparkplug’s son
is in progress. A tough mug comes in with a suggestion and demands
Barney make him the winner and fork over the prize. Barney makes him sit
and wait while he drags over a chair and club and whacks the tough egg a
good one. Problem solved! Great vintage example of this classic strip!
Signed by the artist in last panel. Size is 18-1/2" x 5-1/2."

Walt Kelly POGO Artwork
Large size POGO panel specially done to fit into one of the Pogo reprint
books. Apparently Kelly did others like this as the strip panels were
reformatted into book pages and they didn’t always come out even. No
idea which title this was used in but it is decidedly Kelly, early 60s
at the latest, and very nice featuring Pogo and a pair of frogs. Size
is 13" x 7" and artwork is in excellent condition. Compared to the
prices of Pogo dailies and Sunday page originals, this specially drawn
panel is quite a good deal!

Bob Kane Batman / Penguin Pencil Piece - BIG!!!!
Great pencil original done by Batman creator, Bob Kane, for one of the
set of First Team Press prints which came out around the time of the
second Batman movie. Kane depicts Batman as he appears in the BATMAN
RETURNS film, being attacked by the Danny DeVito version of The
Penguin. A unique piece!
BOB KANE is truly one of the premier comic creators of all time. He
created the legendary Batman and Robin for DC Comics which is one of the
best-known comic franchises in the world today. His artwork, even on
Batman, is scarce and desirable. This piece is a huge 20" x 26" on heavy
illustration board in excellent condition. It is 100% Bob Kane art,
signed by him, and is guaranteed to be by him. A letter of authenticity
signed by the person I am selling this art for will be given to the high
bidder along with the original artwork.

One page strip, "Problem OF The Present," from NEW ROMANCE, published
by Standard Comics in the 1950s. This is the same Vinnie Colletta we
all know and love who inked for DC and Marvel Comics. One face in panel

Seven page story, "Invitation To Romance" from NEW ROMANCE, published
by Standard Comics in the 1950s. Sally rebuffs Tony’s proposal of
marriage to work for her idol, the famous novelist/explorer – Millicent
Archer. But in the end, she realizes that fame and fortune are nothing
without love. This is the same Vinnie Colletta we all know and love who
inked for DC and Marvel Comics. Artwork is 14" x 22-1/." and in good

Marvin Stein 1950s Horror Splash Page
Splash page for "The Voices In The Night." Not sure where this appeared
but suspect it to be one of the companies Simon & Kirby ran like
Crestwood or another similar one. Artwork is 14" x 19-1/2" on heavy
illustration board.
