For sale, an English oil painting attributed to G. Miles (1828-1874) of
Salisbury,
Birmingham (see Benezit, George Francis Miles volume 7, page 414). The painting
is a portait of a seated lady wearing a white gown. G.
Miles' works are held by the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Tate
Gallery and the National Gallery in Sydney, Australia. The dimensions of
the painting with its frame are 34 by 29 inches. The painting comes with
a copy of the description from Arthur Stuart (London - Donegal). Price:
