Bisque Glazed man, with hat that comes off as you can see. He has
mutton chops and ears sticking out,one ear has chip off of the front.
Looks like he's got a high button collar shirt on for detail. The top
of the hat has like a crack in it in two spots. From what I'm told
this belonged to a man from the early 1900's. I don't have any idea
though of it's true age. Not sure what it would have been used for,
and it seems to be hand painted.I was given this info on the cup.
[This might be a shaving mug... I've seen them with a round 'soap' in
them & the top was turned over to rest the shaving brush in until
washed out when done for the day.]
I do Appreciate the helpful information. On the bottom is hand etched
1297 and a paint mark that looks like 36. 4 1/4" high without hat,
with hat about 5 1/2" about 3" wide at base.
