At Carleton we have been phasing out IE6 parity in our new designs for
the past 6 months. We have tended to try to ensure that things still
work on IE6 -- we recognize that some alumni and parents may be at
work and have no choice over their browsers -- but we are no longer
putting much effort into making sure IE6 users see the same thing
everyone else does. In some cases we are including an "please upgrade"
message for IE6.
I am wondering whether the time is right to consider dropping full IE6
support in the Reason administrative interface and in the core
modules. What do you think?
Thanks,
Matt
