Title change enhancement

There's an enhancement request out there for dynamic title updates
with each add() or fireHistoryEvent() call:

I've spent a lot of time working on this feature, but I've run into

I'd love to hear what users think about the advisability of this
feature and whether the bugs in it could be adequately addressed.
