Hi all,
So just chasing up this idea of doing a special GA on research and ethics that got a warm enthusiasm (in fact it got consensus!) at a ga a few weeks ago. Proposed date is September 8th. There would be an open planning meeting before as per usual, although perhaps not on same day. Main proposal at present is to start drafting some guidelines for those researching Occupy and other/relevant social movements.
Given that I have already brought this to a GA, and have had no negative feedback so far, can I presume we can just go ahead for this date? And if so, does anyone have a proposal for location? Steps of St Pauls being an obvious choice, but we could hold it somewhere more relevant, like on the grass in front of Birkbeck where we have done things before?
Thanks,
Sam

Ideally we would do it on the Saturday (8th) but I'm aware that GAs are on Sunday's at the moment. We suggested we could have a planning meeting open to all sometime in the days before the GA...
