Cheap racers???
|
| |
OK RDRC!!!!
Last Sunday while at the field, an idea popped in my head. ( lots of room in there because of the lack of brain cells taking up space)
Anyway,,,,, Jacqui and I were flying her Lucky 13 after a long storage period. She did a couple of moderate speed blow by's and for whatever reason I started thinking about racing. ( NO ROBERT!!!)... more »

Planes for sale
|
| |
Here's the updated list of Ted's planes with some reduced prices. I will guarantee anything on this list in *blue* or *green* and everything else is pretty close. Where there are prices in (parentheses) it is the new cost of the item. If there are two prices at the end of the listing, the second one is without the 2.4 GHz... more »

Googlegroups Digest format
|
| |
For some reason, my Googlegroups Digest is so much better (All of a sudden). The biggest

Thanks,

I have a jig for marking the slot...now I need to cut them. I assume using a #11 blade is going to be time consuming, difficult and not consistent.... more »

Club dues
|
| |
OK now you hit a sensitive subject with me (a retiree who is definitely feeling "living on a fixed income" this year). I thought the club was flush with money, where did it all go? Maybe we were a little too generous with our fund raising activities and should have retained more for club expenses.... more »

Web voting
|
| |
Fellow RDRC members. Several years back we looked at Proxi/Absentee voting because many members, due to job or personal issues, prevented them to attend the meetings to vote on club proposals. We decided at that time that it would be too hard to do this with the resources we had at the time and the idea was tabled.... more »

RDRC Online voting
|
| |
A few years back the Club discussed Proxi voting since many of the members could not come to meetings during the week. At that time we did not have a good way to do this on the web. Now we have a very rich and sophisticated web site and an Outstanding Web Master. Maybe it is time to revisit this idea and look at what it would take to use the Web to allow the members to cast their vote on club proposals. ... more »
