Hi -

I'm using echonest to retrieve artist info, and I like to provide a
link to the artist page on rdio. Echonest provides the rdio ID - but
is it possible to link through to the site using this ID? Or would I
have to call the rdio service to look up the artist?

Hi Ben,

You'll have to call the Rdio API, but it's a really simple call. You can
just call the 'get' method with keys=<the-artist-key>. The response will
include a shortUrl field which will take you to the Rdio artist page.
