OK, So here we are with 1 week, 4 days to go.

I've cured the problems that plagued my elevate system in FA006
yesterday. For those who got the email yesterday, you'll understand!

I've also got T027 fully operational bar the elevate mechanism which,
due to the design, is useless, as when elevated, the marker will not
feed - I'm dropping that feature!

I'm in the process of working out a small addition to the scenery for
this one in the form of the first (of a few) building(s). Suggestions
on a "postcard" for what to build please and nothing too complex/too
big! I've not got huge amounts of ply to work with.

As for the scenarios, I'm currently devising some SIX different
scenarios for the battlefield. I'm not sure whether we'll manage six
battles before the batteries give in, but I'd like to think so!

Teams will be shuffled to try and put people on even teams, and at the
same time let everyone battle with each other at some point throughout
the days.

I would quite like to, perhaps as part of the "lunch break" be able to
sit down and just chat things over, as it seems a hell of a lot easier
to do this in person.

Provisional scenarios will be emailed to everyone in the next day or so.

Anybody who needs directions on how to get there, please contact me off
list ASAP so I can send you directions.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Let me have a few moments on the Saturday morning with it , it requires a bit of tape in the right place .the tank will be almost useless without elevate.

I have built a `war torn effect` scenery piece, its basically two bits of ply cut with a jigsaw to look like staggered brickwork held together in an L shape with an elastic band, they only need to be about 14 inches high ( 350mm if you’re an apprentice joiner ) and as long as you like. Make as many as you wish.
These scenery pieces will withstand a paintball hit but will collapse when hit by a tank. I think they are the most plywood efficient way of creating scenery.

If anyone can, please bring *clear* cardboard boxes , they work great for buildings.

Phil:- excellent work rebuilding the castle after I shot it to bits last year. He he !

Can anyone think of a better name than `summer skirmish` ?

How bout the `FTF v C3 skirmish` ? Or the `Neils gonna win again
skirmish` ?
The battle title should have some relevance to the contest , the FTF
is (re) invading Chelmsford to take possession of the natural
resources the south has to offer. (and of course to annihilate and
humiliate its opponents).
All the C3 and its followers can hope for is to offer a token
resistance to the Northen Plunder,
