TODAY IS DAY 5
FOREIGN LANGUAGE DEPARTMENT: Anyone who needs to retake the Spanish
Regents exam in January must see Senora Flanagan in room 314 before
December 23rd to sign up for the speaking test.
DIVERSIFIED CO-OP: Meets today period 5, please bring your pay-stubs.
BIBLE CLUB: Our club encourages you to come out on Tuesdays after
school in room 308 to check out what we do. This Tuesday will be our
Christmas party. Hope to see you there!
SADD: Candy cane o grams are on sale now until Monday in the café
during lunch periods. $1.00 each, send one to friends, your favorite
teacher or the one you love. They will be delivered to classes on
Tuesday, December 22nd.
MASQUE AND MIME: Pre-auditions for Bye, Bye, Birdie will be Tuesday,
December 22nd at 2pm in Chorus room, all be there. Please bring food
donations for Christmas basket.
Lighting will meet Monday, December 21st.
SKI CLUB: Attention skiers and snowboarders check the website for
information on the overnight trip.
RCK GREENWORKS: There will be an RCK Green-works meeting this Monday,
December 21st in room 337. Please bring a snack to share for our
holiday celebration. New members are welcome.
STUDENT COUNCIL: a substitute mascot is needed to fll in for the
John Jay-Ketcham baseketball game. There will be “tryouts” after
school on Monday. Please see Tom Foy, Melissa Laffin or Mr. Guglieri
if you are interested.
SCIENCE OLYMPIAD: is sponsoring a fund raiser on Wednesday, December
23rd at Pizzeria Uno in Wappingers Falls
You, your family and friends can help by taking a certificate with you
and presenting it when you dine in or take out at Pizzeria Uno by
Kohl’s. Certificates are available in the main office or see Mr.
Ropes room 359 or Mrs D’Antono room 355.
ITALIAN HONOR SOCIETY: Have your friends been Good or Bad this year?
How about being Good! This fundraiser is St. Judes’s Children’s
Hospital. During this holiday season we would like to present all
proceeds to the children at the hospital.
In honor of the Befana, an Italian Cultural icon, the Italian Honor
Society will be selling coal and candy for $2 during all periods from
Dec 14th to Dec 18th in the cafeteria.
The Befana herself will be delivering these treats on January 8th.
So why not surprise your friends with an after-holiday treat?
