Author, Jeff Yalden, will be at RCK to present to the 9th grade teams
on Monday, November 9th at 8:30 AM. A second presentation for parents
and students will be that evening at 7PM at Wappingers Jr. High

MASQUE AND MIME: When a mysterious murder takes place at a high-end
hotel the guests find themselves at the center of the investigation!
Join the Masque and Mime crew for the production of Agatha Christie’s
‘Appointment with Death’ performed in the Bove theater located at Roy
C. Ketcham High School on November 13th and 14th, at 8:00pm and

DIVERSIFIED CO-OP: Reminder: Diversified co-op meets Monday, Day 5,
period 5
HEALTH OFFICE: Sports Physicals will be conducted in the health
office this morning. If you have an appointment please remember to
come.
SENIOR CLASS: Attention Seniors! A representative from Josten’s will
be here today in the cafeteria during lunch periods to take orders
for your cap and gown for graduation. Don’t miss out! You need a cap
and gown for graduation and now is the time to get it at a reduced
price. See Mr. Townsend or Ms. Frangione with any questions.
SOPHOMORE CLASS: Attention Sophomore class! A representative from
Josten’s will be here today in the cafeteria during lunch periods to
take orders for class rings. See Ms. Cephas with any questions.
RESCUE: The Whosoevers are coming to RCK this Monday from 2:00pm –
3:30pm. Come to meet lead singer, Sonny, from POD and Ryan Reese and
hear their stories. The location has been changed from the LGI to the
cafeteria. Be there and bring friends.
JUNIOR CLASS:
The trip to New York City is on December 18th. We leave by charter
bus at 2:30pm and return at 12 midnight. The cost for the trip is
$35.00 cash only and the tickets will be on sale from November 9th –
20th period 1, 2, and 5, 6 in the cafeteria or in room 221 with Mrs.
Cephas. The bus fills up fast so sign up quick. You sign up with
your group of friends but will be chaperoned.
OPERATION AMERICA: We are still writing letters to veterans to be
delivered to Castle Point VA Hospital. Anyone interested, write a
letter of thanks and bring it to the main office. Let our vets know
they are not forgotten!
COMIC CLUB: There will be a meeting on Tuesday at 1:45pm in room 134.
TEEN CLUB: The next Teen club meeting is on Tuesday, November 10th at
2:00pm in room 220. We are having a chips and dip party. New members
welcome. Let Mrs. Cephas in 221 or Ms. Vorel know if you are going to
attend.
FOOTBALL: Congratulations to the Varsity Football team on their 49 –
21 victory over John Jay Cross River in the Don DeMatteo Bowl last
night.
Special thanks to the Ketcham Krazies and student body that were at
the game. Congratulations on a great season!
BOYS AND GIRLS WINTER TRACK AND FIELD: Winter track & field practices
begin on Monday, November 9th! Athletes should meet in the gym lobby
ready to practice outside after school on Monday! Any questions see
coach Budd in the boys PE office or Coach Stockslager in room 278!
BOYS VARSITY SOCCER: All players should meet in room 143 today after
school to turn in uniforms and eat pizza. Bring $3.00.
CHEERLEADING: tryouts will be held next Monday and Tuesday, November
9th and 10th, at Myers Elementary School from 3:30pm to 4:30pm. Make
sure you have a current sports physical and have filed a winter

GYMNASTICS: Wednesday, November 11 there will be a meeting at 5:00pm
in the RCK gym lobby immediately followed by tryouts until 9:00pm.
AMIGOS DE FUTBOL: Reminder – we are collecting slightly used or new
soccer equipment for extremely underprivileged orphan children in
Argentina. We are looking for soccer balls, shin guards, cleats, or
any other sports equipment! The large box is in the upper-main
lobby. Every small donation counts-let’s fill up the box and change
one life at a time.
