Big Apples and QB

Anyone ever put Big Apples on their Quickbeam? Did they clear
enough? No fenders of course. I'm guessing barely if at all.

I ran the 50c versions for awhile. You're right. Barely. But they did
work.

I ran the 50's too. Pictures proved it happened:

They were very comfortable but in the end I wanted something that accelerated faster, so now I run 700x40 Marathon Supremes and am very happy with them.

That is mighty close. Perhaps too close for comfort. I doubt you'd ride that home with a broken spoke.

Do you break alot of spokes? What type of rims are you using?
