Riv peoples!
Just finished my first build/Riv and realizing I need a rear fender for the sloppier days of winter. I was using a Win Wing on my previous ride (Kona Humu) but with V brakes and 2.6 tires that's no longer an option.
Anyone have suggestions that don't break the bank?
I do have a T Rack from Tumbleweed that I may use for the time being... or forever.

Thanks.

Interesting... is the Ass Savers' "Big Win Wing" not wide enough?.. If so, maybe this Fendor Bendor Big won't be enough either?..  I have both of those and like them a lot for bikes that can't take a regular fender. (There's also the Brookshield, but I haven't tried it.)

BTW, nice bike!

I have a similar build kind of... a 53 Susie with oaths but I got 2.2 schwalbe all rounds on.  debating shaping them out for more grip for the winter but also kinda think it's fine.  I have been debating putting fenders on but I also kinda think, and especially how your susie is built up with the 2.6s that if you're going to go out in the winter you're just going to be muddy. how you have that bike set up and what its made for riding I think at that point you're just in the shit so to speak so might as well just embrace it and just know you're going to have a wet ass and be muddy.  also don't forget that the mud will build up under the fenders and will either slow you down or you will have to go find a stick to clear the mud out of the fenders. IMG_0109.jpg

I was looking at those. They may work.
The win wing’s arms are too short to mount below the brakes on the stays. My only concern with the Fendor Bendor is the length. These Susie rear ends are long!

Thanks

Hello,
I'm new to this group and I have a Susie Fillet Brazed 50cm. I'm using the SKS Bluemels 75 U fenders with the Schwalbe SmartSam 27.5 x 2.6  and it works fine, there are tighter space on the front fork than the rear one.

I'm running 29s on it, but those might be an option. I'll look into em.
Thanks, Tho!
