velosophy

This is my first post so forgive me if this is old news. I was
searching Amazon for cycling books and came across a title new to me,
Velosophy by Grant Petersen being released in April. I know that
velosophy is a topic on the Riv website but haven't heard about a book
so titled. Does anyone know more about this book?

Wow, I didn't know that was really a book. Thought it was some just
made up word in the Rivendell Dictionary.

back. Didn't realize it was going to be published so soon. I'm going
to pre-order mine now.

My orders of Velocity rims come with little stickers that have pithy
quotes on them, which are labeled as velosophy. I imagine RBW will
sell the book, too.

Somewhat surprised the Amazon site - at least at present - suggests it
will not be available in an e-edition for Kindle. What with all the
grief Riv took for on-line Riv Reader, you would think a Kindle
version a given.

That's typically the publisher's choice. Been seeing these things occur for
my brother's (non cycling) book, and by the time the writer's done, there's
a whooooole lotta stuff that happens which is pretty much out of that
person's control.

The only other thing I'll mention is that purchasing it directly through Riv
may make them a little more money in the sale of each book, assuming it's
going to be a Riv product.

To all other questions about the book he just invoked rank and number... :-)
