Hi,

I started out using ravendb and really like it. My main problem is
hosting, I would like not to host the db myself, but rely on a
provider. I heard a rumor saying you guys are make ravendb hosting,
but when can we expect to start using it?

Best regards
Rasmus Christensen

Interesting question :)

So obviously, RavenDB needs to be able to handle Tenants - TICK.

The trick comes down to .. Authentication? Could leverage windows authentication here .. unless there's a custom bundle created, instead?

I'm also assuming the Backup option for RavenDB + Tenants has been solved, too.

A while back I asked if RavenDB would come to AppHarbor:

I really want to give @RavenDB a go for this project, the downside is
the lack of @appharbor support for it and I'm a noob at it.

If this does happen soon will be awesome. Got a startup project I work
on in the background and I have a client's website which is being re-
written from asp.net and SQL Server to asp.net mvc and RavenDB. Both
would work amazingly on AppHarbor when it supports RavenDB

And it's still the most requested feature by far on appharbor http://feedback.appharbor.com/forums/95687-general

Together with AppHarbor or RavenDb alone like MongoHq? My main problem
is like others in here that I'm working on a project hosted at
Appharbor and the lack of a host makes it really hard to use.

I'm developing a project hosted in AppHarbor too, using MongoHQ,
because RavenDb is not there yet. :)

But now, looking to a problem in another project, that I've solved by
using triggers, I think it would not be a possible solution on a
hosted RavenDb, right?

If I'm right, I will need to deploy my own RavenDb with those
triggers, and then the problem is storage right?

I really want to use RavenDb for all my projects and I want to move to
AppHarbor too, cost, scalability...

Is there something I can do to help to achieve these goals? :)

We will have a solution for that, yes.
Running your own triggers would be supported, but in a special configuration, most likely.

Any update of when the Appharbor add in is likely to be available?

I don't see a reason why why not.

Any update on the likely availability (and pricing?) of the Appharbor
add in?

Thanks!
