Versioning and ActiveBundles configuration

If I have a RavenDB 2.0 database that has versioning enabled, and i absolutely need to remove a document and it's entire revision history.

Is it possible to briefly turn off versioning and with the ActiveBundles configuration and then remove those documents, then reenable versioning?

Yes
Please note that you need to somehow disable other concurrent writes.
