Hi there,
I searched and found nothing on this topic, so please tell me if I
overlooked something.
My concern is the raphael performance, as I want to use the lib across
platforms, down to androids and old ipads. Basically everything is fine,
nothing crashes or similar.
But animation performance on mobile devices could be waaaay better.

I'm not really sure how to use dotchart at all though. Can anyone
help me? Or give me any suggestions?

Basically I want to be able to take a basic path that took maybe 30 seconds
to draw in illustrator, give it some stroke-width, and then make it look
3-D like the extrude function in illustrator. I was going to try and write
something, but wanted to check if anyone has done this before.

Raphael still needed?

Given that IE 8 and below are now only 15% or so of the browser market, can we just start writing native SVG?

Has anyone quantified whether Raphael is slower than using SVG directly?

Not saying I don't love Raphael, but do wonder if it's something I should keep using, especially if there is a performance overhead (which I'm guessing there must be).

 Hi,
I'm quite a noob using RaphaelJs and donig a POC to test and learn. I wish
to build a web js application to draw elements and then export them to a
PDF. Did anyone tried this using pure JS ? I thought about jspdf
integration. Anyone ever looked at it ?
Thanks.
Yann

 Hey guys,
I have a large number of elements on my svg.
Right now, when I want to move all of them, I apply the transformation for
each one. And I am not really happy about the speed.
I took into consideration grouping the elements in a <g> and applying the
transformation only to this group. But I did some quick tests and it didn't
