I searched and found nothing on this topic, so please tell me if I
overlooked something.
My concern is the raphael performance, as I want to use the lib across
platforms, down to androids and old ipads. Basically everything is fine,
nothing crashes or similar.
But animation performance on mobile devices could be waaaay better.

I would like to better control the pattern of dashes and gaps in
stroke-dasharray. I have been using
'stroke-dasharray': '--'
but I'd like to use numeric values such as 'stroke-dasharray': '5, 5'
When I do so I get a solid line. Is it possible to not use the standard

I notice in el.transform() that "translation doesn’t change x or y of the
rectange." But what if I want to be able to get absolute, or merely
relatively rotated coordinates off a transformed path? Is there a way to

Basically I want to be able to take a basic path that took maybe 30 seconds
to draw in illustrator, give it some stroke-width, and then make it look
3-D like the extrude function in illustrator. I was going to try and write

Animate and Object Collision

SVG not rendering correctly

Given that IE 8 and below are now only 15% or so of the browser market, can we just start writing native SVG?

Has anyone quantified whether Raphael is slower than using SVG directly?

Not saying I don't love Raphael, but do wonder if it's something I should keep using, especially if there is a performance overhead (which I'm guessing there must be).
