Hi everyone

I feel like I should be able to figure this out for myself but alas
cannot. It's likely something simple that I am missing. Point out
the obvious.

So, please tell me: What is the difference b/w the Nitto M12 and the
Nitto Mini? This is for use on canti bike.

Here's an M12: http://www.longleafbicycles.com/products/racks-baskets-bags-and-fenders/racks/nitto-m12-front-rack/

And here's a Mini: http://www.rivbike.com/products/show/mini-front-nitto/20-020

Thanks

Christian

There may be other differences, but the key is that the M12 mounts to canti studs while the Mini mounts using clamps on your fork blades. If you have canti studs, I think the M12 is the better choice. Some folks recommend special canti bolts if you're going with a rack that mounts on canti posts, something like these:

Thanks for the fast reply. That explains it. The rack is for a
custom frame so the M12 should be easy to fit.

Thanks again
