Fleche - Riding More Than One

Looking through the 2009 results I noticed no Randonneur credited with two fleche rides.  Does ACP rules allow two fleche in one year?  If ACP recognizes only one fleche per year, which one is recognized?  If the first one is recognized and the second disqualified, is the second team disqualified if there they had only three riders?

I know of some people who have ridden two RUSA fleches, and the BC fleche in the same year;  I will of course refuse to provide any other details, it's just our secret.

FWIW, when this situation came up several years ago, the ACP didn't
seem to mind if a rider did two Fleches-USA in the same season. (I
asked them.) They understood that we allow a range of dates near
Easter and it would be possible for someone to ride more than once
[unlike in France, where (nearly) all the events are held on Easter
weekend.] Perhaps things are different now, but I've heard nothing
from RUSA HQ to indicate otherwise since then. If it appears no
Americans did two Fleches-USA last year, I would be surprised to learn
that it was the result of some ruling against earning two Fleches-USA
ride credits in the same year.

But overall, if you are concerned about this (or any other US
randonneuring rules/awards question), write directly the RUSA; they'll

In Australia, the Fleche Opperman is typically held on the same weekend across the country.  In 2008 when circumstances made it necessary for Victoria region to hold the Fleche Opperman on a different weekend to all of the other Australian regions, two South Australian riders completed two Fleches that year.  ACP had no problem homologating them.
