I've been on this list for longer than I know, and I am happy and proud about that.
I'm popping this out to the list because I was thinking about Sheldon Brown while I was riding yesterday. I was thinking to myself "what's the most efficient way to shift-in-a-step-by-step-gear-by-gear" progression on the flats/climbs/descents, and what I thought then was " I should ask Sheldon Brown ". I remember him fondly, though never met him, his encyclopedic and prolific grasp and ease with explaining all things bicycling/tricycling was and is endearing and appealing.
Those of you, too, who've been around here for a while remember him too I'm sure.
Tip 'o the hat to Sheldon Brown!
