A couple years on the dates is far less relevant than the message that he had many years in his life and a lot of life in his years.  Thanks for the article.

   Will this mean the end of the Singer bicycle or did he have a capable apprentice to replace him as he did for Alex Singer?

Ernest Csuka was 81 years old, and the originally stated birth year
of 1928 was correct. Also, going back to the interview with Ernest
Csuka in BQ Vol. 1, No. 1, Ernest Csuka took over the Singer shop in
1964, not 1962. I have confirmed these dates with a good friend of
the family, so I am confident they are correct now.
