Hi Curt,
Would you mind sending out the following for me, I am in need of a little help this weekend and hoping some of the running family will be available to help:
------------
Hello All,
It is a very busy week at The Cowtown!
First, Please join us tomorrow, Thursday, October 6th from 6 to 8pm for the first Cowtown mixer of the year! We will have World Wellness in attendance to do chair massages, we will offer discounts on registration, give you details on the 2012 course and just enjoy each other’s company with appetizers, beer and wine. I hope you can all make it. If the parking lot in front of The Cowtown is full please park over at the Cook’s Children parking lot or over by Anderson Windows. Please don’t park at Esperanzas.
Second, we have the Trinity Trot CALF 5K/1 Mile run on this Saturday morning, October 8th. The race starts and finishes at the TCU campus in the parking lot off of Bellaire North. We have 800 runners registered at this time and packet pickup/registration at the office starts tomorrow morning at 8am. If you want to run, please come on by and register but if you would like to volunteer we are still looking for a few more people to help. We need a few more volunteers to help as course monitors plus to help at the finish line and food area. Please drop me an email if you are available to volunteer and we will give you more details.
Third, this Saturday, October 8th from 4pm to 10pm is the Fall Arts Goggle! The Cowtown will have 5 artists displaying art in our building plus we will be registering runners and serving appetizers beer and wine. We are looking for a few more volunteers to help be greeters at our office and help serve the beer and wine. If you are interested in helping for a little while at Arts Goggle, we would love to have you join us. If you don’t want to volunteer, please still come on by and say hello. There will be all sorts of artists all along Park Place Avenue and W. Magnolia. A band will be playing right outside of The Cowtown office.
Hope to see you all at one or all of the activities this week and if you would like to help by volunteering please send me an email.
Thank you so much!
Heidi
