I just realized that Grand Prix, the annual German IF competition, didn't happen this April. Or, at least, the http://www.textfire.de/comp/index.htm page doesn't have a link for Grand Prix 2007.
Did the Grand Prix get cancelled this year? Did it move?
I have very little knowledge of the German text adventure scene, but I do like to keep myself (and ifwiki) informed as best as I can. But the German IF webring seems to be gone, and the forum software was broken when I tried to visit yesterday. So any information on the status of German IF would be very welcome right now.

It just silently didn't take place. Not that anyone seems to have missed it, though. :-(

The German scene has been inactive for quite a while now. What pages are there have not been updated recently and some pages have been affected by "link rot". The hub of the German scene, the Forum, is broken for some weeks now and had been very quiet before that.
David, I'll send a more detailed update on the German scene by e- mail.
That's a real pity :( It's been a while since I've entered in the german forums (thanks to the google translator), but the last time I entered, almost half a year ago, I didn't get the impression of the german scene being *that* quiet.
