I am using MacOS10.7. I have downloaded and installed RailsInstaller-1.0.3-osx-10.7. Then even restart the computer. When I input ruby -v in a terminal, the ruby version is still 1.8.7.

When input rvm default 1.9.3, the following message show up.

ruby-1.9.3-p194 is not installed.
To install do: 'rvm install ruby-1.9.3-p194'

I can't watch the video provided by RailsInstaller website. Is there anything I have to do after install the RailsInstaller-1.0.3-osx-10.7?

Sure the internet connection is ok. I think the issue is not about the internet connection. The system point to the old ruby, but not the new one. Even the rvm version is different with RailsInstaller website mentioned. How do I config them?

the issue could be in previous user installation of rvm, it should be enough to remove it with:

    rm -rf ~/.rvm*

it will remove user installation of rvm and give you access to system rvm in which ruby 1.9.3 is available.

I'm working on rvm2 which will allow having both user and system installations and to see system installation rubies in user installation.
