ActiveScaffold - Build drop down values pulled from database

I'm using activescaffold for UI framework usin ruby on rails.
I';m facing issues as i'm unable to understand teh UI rendering in
this plugin to make drop down values being pulled from DB?

Does anyone know how to build drop down values using ActiveScaffold
plugin?

any help in time would be highly appreciated? thanks
