Hi everyone,
The camp is only 13 sleeps away!! so it's time for a big update and some notifications.
For the first time campers, yes you need to bring your own bedding, toiletries - ie a sleeping bag, pillow,
toothbrush & paste etc... We have a full list of suggestions here:
http://railscamps.com/#nz_mar_2013For those that have booked a seat on the Bus it will be leaving the Wellington Train station at 2pm on the
Friday and will be leaving the camp at 10am on the Monday. I think it's a 50ish minute journey. The easiest
way to get from the airport to the train station is with the Airport Flyer bus:
http://www.airportflyer.co.nz/
If you're not going to be needing your bus seat in either of the directions can you please let me know so we
don't send out search parties thinking you're lost.
If you are getting yourself to the camp, it's the YMCA Camp Kaitoke here:
http://goo.gl/maps/33uEL and feel
free to turn up from 3pm onwards. If you'll be substantially later can you please let me know.
Additionally does anyone driving have a spare seat? I know of someone who's plane is arriving when the bus
leaves. :-(
We're supplying beer and fizzy drinks this year as part of your ticket. And to help us do that Trineo have come
onboard again as major sponsor after helping us out last year. Thanks guys! Love your website design
too:
http://trineo.co.nzWhat type of beer? Last year we ran dry of the Weka Cider real quick, so there will be more of that this year
including a selection of craft beers. If you do want something else feel free to bring it, but be prepared to
share ;-)
And yup, having totaly slipped our minds for the first camp in 2011, we have t-shirts this year. They are
kindly sponsored by our third major sponsor YouDo (
http://youdo.co.nz). They also host the monthly WellRailed
meetings in their sweet sweet office:

bring an adapter.
And just a quick reminder of our first major sponsor - Powershop (
http://www.powershop.co.nz). As well as
powering some of your homes they'll be powering us all up by covering the coffee at the camp. So a big ups to
them for that!
We also have AbleTech and Github sponsoring IT Gear and Github additionally providing prizes for the Sunday
Night Demo using the above mentioned projector. Thanks guys!
If you get lost in your attempts to find the Wellington train station (

else unexpected happens and you need to contact us, our phone numbers have been sent to you in the
direct email. If you don't see it, check your spam folder.
