Due to my dispute with PayPal remaining unresolved (as at the end of an hour phone conversation), I have two problems. One is "how to get the remaining $6.5k out of my account". The other is: where should payment be sent instead of rail...@mocra.com

1. I think I have only one short term solution: to reject 41 x $164 payments to rail...@mocra.com and send the money back to you. You will then repay it to the alternate paypal account below.

This will be a moderate nightmare to organise. Mostly for me, but also for upto 41 attendees.

I'm looking for as many volunteers as possible to be inconvenienced by this as possible so I don't have to force the inconvenience onto anyone.

If you bought your ticket in the LAST 60 DAYS please:
* Email me at rail...@mocra.com with your paypay email address.
* I will reject your $164 payment.
* Then "Send Funds" of $164 to pay...@mocra.com
* Reply to your original email and say "Done"

If I don't get 41x$164 in emails offering to help, I'll worry about what to do with the remaining after the weekend.

2. I'll change the paypal account for all new ticket purchasers to pay...@mocra.com

For anyone interested in details: We will lose 60% of the 40x$4 fees paid (about $100) to PayPal after the rejection of payments. Better than never seeing the money again.

We have retrieve $4900 so far. $4200 via sending it to Ryan Allen, and $700 by withdrawing directly to an unverified bank account. These are the two limits for sending and withdrawing. $11500 - $4900 = $6600

Cheers and sorry for inconvenience caused to the 41 people.
Nic

Alternate to repaying to $164 to pay...@mocra.com, you can send the
$164 directly to the RailsCamp bank account:

BSB 064111
Account 10130590
Account Name: Dr Nic Academy Pty Ltd
Bank: CBA

Still remember to send me a reply email with "DONE" (and how you
paid).

I assume that a lot of people booked as soon as registrations were open, and they'd be unable to do a refund this way.

Should there be some way of gauging (eg an online poll) how many people are unable to do a refund, so you know whether there's 41 people in the remainder?
