Eventually I am sure users would want to customize more of the header,
but I would like to be able to turn off the gravatar image, want to
use for an internal site where I don't think anyone uses gravatar.com

Also it seems we need a reload_each_request configuration. No way
developers can restart each time when doing changes to the
initializer. The :before_filter works fine, maybe that is sufficient
if it is in the readme or wiki, but probably need something more clean
long term? In that case we need a specific configuration file and not
just an initializer?
